TidPix, the African-content streaming platform, just went live on LG Channels in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, and four Nordic countries — a major win for African film and series visibility worldwide.
The African-focussed streaming service TidPix — operated by Rushlake Media — has officially launched across seven European territories, bringing a curated catalogue of African films and series to millions of LG smart-TV users.
Starting December 2, 2025, households in the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark can access TidPix for free via LG Channels — no subscription required, just the click of a remote.
More Than Expansion — A Cultural Bridge
For Rushlake Media, the move signals a growing shift: African entertainment is no longer boxed in by geography. CEO Philipp Hoffman said in the release that the launch “marks a major step toward global visibility for African storytellers,” bringing the diversity and richness of the continent directly into European living rooms.
