A quiet revolution is happening in Nollywood. Beyond the cameras and stories, worship music ministers are stepping into the world of film, blending sound and spirit to create moments that move hearts and shift atmospheres.

Leading this creative awakening are Ernieola Olusoga, Joshua Mike Bamiloye, and Lawrence Oyor . Artists proving that worship can live just as powerfully on screen as it does on stage.

Ernieola Olusoga – The Praise Warrior

Ernieola Olusoga is more than a worship leader. She is a priest, prophet, and creative force whose voice carries the sound of heaven. As the visionary behind the prophetic movement WordWorshipWarfare (WWW), she blends music, ministry, and mentorship with bold expression.

A trained musicologist with a degree in Music from the University of Lagos and a Grade 6 Certificate from the Music Society of Nigeria, she also leads creative platforms like Team D’testifiers, The Rebirth, and Ernie’s Closet.

Her impact has crossed into film, from crafting the original soundtrack for Unveiled Series by White Harvest Productions, to having her live performance featured in the Netflix hit Òlòtūré. Beyond the screen, Ernieola continues to shape worship culture through her 2025 release Ariya (The Rebirth of Ancient Sounds) , a body of work that celebrates African rhythm, prophetic sound, and spiritual depth.

Ernieola’s artistry proves one truth: worship is not limited to the church; it is a creative force shaping culture and storytelling.

Joshua Mike Bamiloye – The Cinematic Psalmist

Joshua Mike Bamiloye, fondly known as JayMikee, continues the Mount Zion legacy with fresh creative energy. As a composer and producer, he has shaped the soundtracks of many Mount Zion and Flaming Sword productions, fusing cinematic depth with worship intensity.

His compositions have featured in acclaimed Christian films like The Train, Abejoye (The King Maker), and the recent musical film Under Siege. His sound doesn’t just support the story, it elevates it, turning every scene into a moment of divine encounter.

In 2025, Joshua released his album SEVEN, led by the single Agbara featuring Gaise Baba, Joshua Israel, and DaddyVerse. The song merges gospel, Afro-fusion, and scripture-inspired lyrics in a way that feels both cinematic and prophetic.

Through his blend of gospel, drama, and technology, Joshua is redefining what faith-based sound can feel like to a new generation of listeners and viewers.

Lawrence Oyor – The Voice of Revival

ree

Lawrence Oyor’s sound feels like an open heaven. Known for his spontaneous worship sessions and heart-stirring chants, he is one of the most recognized voices of revival across Africa. His songs have found a place in Christian films and short features such as 30 Pieces, where his track 911 (with Darasimi Oyor) serves as the film’s official soundtrack and Prophet Suddenly, which features his powerful vocals.

Lawrence’s 2025 releases include Alignment Chant, I Will Never Bow (featuring Godswill Oyor), and Jugular Jugular (featuring Greatman Takit), each one carrying his signature prophetic fire and deep intimacy with God. His song Favour also became the most-streamed Nigerian gospel song of 2025 on Spotify.

Whether through chants, film soundtracks, or worship gatherings, Lawrence continues to prove that worship can be both cinematic and deeply personal — a sound that moves beyond music into revival.

Together, Ernieola Olusoga, Joshua Mike Bamiloye, and Lawrence Oyor are blurring the line between sacred and cinematic. They are ushering in a new era where worship becomes more than melody — it becomes motion picture ministry. A sound that not only fills theaters and streaming platforms but fills hearts with heaven’s message.
